This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, keep your session secure, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and SDKs, all referred to here as “cookies”.
2. Categories of cookies we use

3. First- and third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by us (first-party) and some by third parties. Today those are Google (Google Analytics 4, for aggregate usage measurement) and Microsoft (Clarity, which records page interactions such as scrolling and clicks so we can see where a page is confusing). Clarity is loaded only after you accept. Both process data under agreements that require appropriate safeguards.
4. Your choices & consent
On your first visit we ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary. Until you accept, no analytics or marketing cookie is placed on your device and Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all.
- Accept — analytics and marketing cookies are set, and Microsoft Clarity begins recording page interactions.
- Decline — no such cookies are set, Clarity never loads, and only the cookieless signal above is sent.
- Changing your mind — use Cookie preferences at the foot of any page. Withdrawing switches analytics off, deletes the cookies we set on our own domain, and reloads the page so that Clarity stops running.
- Cookies set by Microsoft on clarity.ms and bing.com are on their domains, not ours, so we cannot delete them for you — withdrawing stops anything further being sent, and your browser's settings will clear the rest.
- Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. Clearing your site data removes it and we will ask again.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect functionality.
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for security and operation.
5. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until you delete them. Retention periods are set to the minimum necessary for each purpose.
